Welcome to the home of our Central Missouri based Cowboy Mounted Shooting Club! We are an affiliate club with the Cowboy Mounted Shooting Association. We are based near Columbia, Missouri with a group of dedicated shooters and horsemen that truly enjoy the sport of mounted shooting. We will be holding spring & summer practices at the Ashland Arena, the Hartman Arena in Prairie Home, MO and the Flyin' 45 Arena in Harrisburg, MO for 2009. Click on "Practice Dates" above, or email for directions and dates.


EXCITING NEWS & ACCOMPLISHMENTS:

Congratulations to Tanner Brundage for getting two wins (Milan and Downing) July 10th and 11th 2009, moving him up to level 2. Tanner, age 14, just joined SMMS in January, and with Gus has been going strong.

Congratulations to Travis Smith for winning the Men's Overall Champion Cowboy on Sunday at the Des Moines, IA Horse Fair Shoot April 5th, 2009. Travis placed third in the overall on Saturday, won his class and moved up to a level three AND was able to achieve his first win as a level three on Sunday by winning the overall! What a weekend!

Congratulations to Adrienne Vought for getting her second win at Syracuse and moving up to Level 2, where she can now compete with Mom and Laura Smith.
